there is a bass guitar and a lead guitar. if you look up the rifts there are two seprate one's for this song, a lead part which as Alix said, only plays in short bursts, and a bass, which plays almost constantly during the song. Notice how at just after two minutes you can clearly hear two guitars.BTW, Just as an eletric or acoustic guitar can have more than six strings, a bass can be custom made to have more as well. Go Google image search it and see for your self.

I couldn't help but notice that in all the end of 2008 nostalgic montages about who we lost this year on the news & in magazines they kind of skimmed through Carlin's impact & his life. They concentrated more on Paul Newman & Heath Ledger; I don't know about u guys but I think George had if not more or at least as much of an impact as those guys. Carlin totally changed the way people did comedy; & his longevity; he was doing it for 40 years; he wasn't just a comedian he was the definition of it.

This movie is absolutely amazing. It was the first movie to develop plot devices like hiring a group of experts for a dangerous mission (very common today - oceans 11, italian job, etc.) It's either one of the best Japanese films of all time, or simply one the best films of all time. Back in the day, by the way, movie trailers were horrible by today's standards. Now days the trailer is almost a production all on its own.

I can't wait to watch it! I just found out about this because my fiance and I just bought the anime. I know you're gonna say the anime sucks compared to the real thing but hey its fun so far and without it I never would have looked up stuff on the internet and stumbled upon this movie's existence. LOL the scene with Haihachi chopping wood, Gorobei being tested, and Kikuchiuyo's triangle are all reenacted exactly in the anime! So funny!

Although the film seems to be a bit behind in technological advantages for its time (particularly sound quality), it makes up for it with an intriguing story and interesting characters. The movie is about 3 1/2 hours long, and yet I was left wanting more, a credit to the writing and directing of the movie legend Akira Kurosawa. Check Out Condemned. PRetty Similar Mise En Scene give or take the setting changing from Chicago a - New York feel. hey, I'm a fan of both White Stripes and Audioslave, but I think the original and cover are good. True, Jack White did come up with the song, but Audioslave didn't exactly do a bad job with it, either. If you doubt their interpretation, listen to Tom Morello's solo: it's astounding,, as are Chris Cornell's vocals. It's only bad if you want the two to sound the same; it's great if you're looking for aritstic expression and skill

I saw the comment about Benjamin not dancing. On the extras on the DVD, it mentions that the actor who played Benjamin was the only one who didn't have any background in dance. That is why he is never dancing. The only part you see all six brothers do together is the end and the part at 1:25 and even there at 1:30 he couldn't do the head to the side. If you notice in the Goin' Courtin' part, all the brothers and Millie are dancing but him except the weave in and out part.
